Canvas stretching and canvas frames in Dubai
Rafi Frames stretches painted and printed canvases on new wooden stretcher bars at its shop in Karama, Dubai, and can frame them with floating or L-shape frames. Bring a rolled canvas or one that has gone slack, and we stretch it tight and ready to hang.

What we stretch

Framing a stretched canvas
- Floating frame
- The canvas sits inside the frame with a shadow gap around it. A clean, gallery look.
- L-shape frame
- An L-profile moulding that holds the canvas from the side and back.
- No frame
- Stretched and wrapped around the bars, ready to hang as it is.
What to bring
Bring the canvas rolled with the painted side facing out, never folded. It needs spare canvas beyond the image, ideally a few centimetres on every side, to wrap around the bars. If the border is tight, bring it anyway and we will suggest options.

Can you stretch a rolled canvas?
Yes. We stretch rolled canvases on new wooden stretcher bars made to the size of the image.
Does my canvas need an extra border?
Ideally, yes: a few centimetres of spare canvas on each side to wrap around the bars. Bring it in if the border is small and we will advise.
Can you frame a canvas that is already stretched?
Yes, with a floating frame or an L-shape frame.
