Mounts and glazing

A mount (also called a passe-partout) is the card border between the artwork and the frame. It keeps the artwork off the glass and gives it room on the wall. We cut mounts to your size at the counter. For glazing, choose glass or acrylic: acrylic is lighter and shatter-resistant, which suits large frames, hallways and children's rooms.

How to measure your artwork

Measure the artwork itself, width × height, in centimetres. Tell us whether you want a mount and roughly how wide, or ask us to suggest a size. For odd shapes or very large pieces, send a photo with a tape measure in shot.
